Google wants to help you get laid, get pregnant and grow weed!

Every once in a while, Google does something a little odd. I was looking up information on “How to grow strawberries” as I have some in the garden that are almost ripe. I wanted tips on insect and bird control so that I get to eat them rather than allowing nature’s creatures to beat me to it.
As I was typing into Google, I got the following suggestions when I got as far as typing “How to g”. These are the results I got:
- how to get pregnant
- how to get a six pack
- how to get rid of spots
- how to gain weight
- how to get a flat stomach
- how to grow weed
- how to get rid of blackheads
- how to grow potatoes
- how to get a boyfriend
- how to get a girlfriend
Clearly there’s an overwhelming need to get a partner, how to have babies, how to get a flat belly and grow potatoes. A very interesting and scary insight into Google users!

It just goes to show what a lot of people are searching for. This could be quite a good tool to use, in order to discover a niche market to enter.
It’s nice to see a lot of them are self-improvement related though.
yeah, i think I’ve search most of them in my time
(get pregnant), well personally not me but the wife is good and preggers!
(get a flat stomach), still working on that one DAMN THAT COOL REFRESHING CARLING!
(grow weed), many years ago in a miss spent youth
(get a girlfriend), in my geek days
But yeah Darren, you’re right a good way to discover new niche markets! I hadn’t thought of using it for that before so thanks!

You mean people are actually searching on Google on how to get pregnant? I can’t believe people have to google that. How to get a six pack, that I can understand.

You should try googling “why do [indians, american, british, sweedish etc.]”
The results are pretty shocking, haha!

Thought I’d try a few others and of course “F” was the first choice… Not what you’d expect but my final suggestion is:
“how to finger your girlfirend” !! :)
It seems weed will soon be growing everywhere… try “how to grow”.

i use this alot since its launch as a ‘keyword’ descovery tool, just try a few combinations of the product type and you know what article titles you should have to support any advertising… simples
